Today, on International Women’s Day, we at Ebenezer Community Development Organization (ECOD) proudly celebrate the strength, resilience, and remarkable contributions of women in Malawi and around the world.
This year’s theme — “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality” — reminds us of the critical need to bridge the gender gap in digital access and innovation. Technology must be inclusive, empowering women and girls to lead, innovate, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
At ECOD, we are committed to promoting gender equality by empowering, supporting, and advocating for women and girls in all our programs. From rural communities to urban centers, we stand with women as they pursue education, lead change, and shape a brighter future.
We recognize the invaluable roles women play — as mothers, daughters, professionals, leaders, and changemakers. Their dedication and determination fuel progress and transformation in every corner of society.
