ECOD is born out of the desire to propel development that is premised on socioeconomic development of the vulnerable population in our country. We advance the vision and work of our founders to lead the holistic and people centred community development. Following the footsteps of our founders, we inspire hope through action, encouraging individuals and communities to be part of their development agenda. The community’s needs are a priority of our response hence our efforts are directed towards children, women, youths, people living with disabilities, refugees, people living with HIV/AIDS and the elderly around the communities we serve.

Our work is sandwiched on putting the local communities at the heart of development hence holistic approach through Rights based; Advocacy; Civic education; Capacity building; Participatory; Community centred; Coordination and collaboration; Needs driven and Project based.
